The much-anticipated short film Pahalgam had its grand world premiere on June 29, 2025 in Andheri, Mumbai, amid an atmosphere of excitement and admiration. Inspired by a real-life terrorist attack in Pahalgam, the story was penned by writer-producer-director Rajesh just a day after the tragic incident. While the film presents a fictional narrative, its emotional core is deeply rooted in the impact of terrorism, delivering a powerful social message that is bound to stir the conscience of viewers across all age groups and backgrounds.
According to the filmmaker, the production of Pahalgam demanded intense dedication and perseverance—a commitment that has finally borne fruit with critical acclaim and public appreciation.
The premiere was graced by eminent personalities from both Bollywood and the corporate world. Noted industrialist Ashok Jain lauded Rajesh for his exceptional work, praising the story, screenplay, dialogues, and direction. He expressed keen interest in collaborating with Rajesh on future ventures.
Veteran film personality Dhanraj Ji, who shares a longstanding 15-year association with the director, commended Rajesh for his sincerity and relentless work ethic, extending his heartfelt best wishes to the entire team. Businessman and childhood friend Rajesh Tawri echoed similar sentiments, calling Rajesh a determined individual who never backs down once he sets his mind to something.

The film features Pankaj Mehta, Shivani Roy, and Deepak Gupta in lead roles. The story, screenplay, dialogues, lyrics, and direction were all crafted by Rajesh. The film’s music has been composed by Meenu Kumari and Amitabh Ranjan, with Rajesh Tiwari serving as the executive producer. Key technical contributions came from cinematographer Yunus Mirza, editor Ravi Roshan, background music and mixing by Manoj Singh, and creative head Rajeev Patil. Associate Director Pradeep Patil, Associate Writer Dr. Bibhash Chandra Jha, and assistant directors Ankita Singh and Mayank were integral to the project.
